About the Owner

Matt Lewis, PE

Matt grew up in the shadows of the Philadelphia skyline, spending his childhood running between baseball games, basketball practice, and golf lessons. He'd manage to squeeze time in for his beloved Philadelphia Eagles on Sundays, as well.

After graduating from James Madison University in Virginia, Matt moved to Charlotte, NC to begin his career as an electrical engineer. Obtaining his professional engineer's license increased his desire to one day open his own engineering consulting firm. When the time came to open Wilde Engineering, Matt knew he wanted to name it after the street he grew up on; a small homage to his upbringing and the hard work his parents put in the provide him a great childhood.

When not working to make Wilde Engineering one of the top firms in the Carolinas, you can find Matt on the golf course, coaching baseball, or with his two dogs, Sadie and Foles (yes, after Nick Foles of the Eagles). Matt enjoys nothing more than to talk with others and make relationships, so even if it does not have to do with engineering services, do not be afraid to reach out just to have a conversation!
